CRU® Announces 2015 Photo Contest Winners
Grand Prize, Category, and People’s Choice Winners Awarded
Vancouver, WA — January 4, 2016 — Today CRU announced the winners of the CRU 2015 Photo Contest. From the 287 images submitted, the Grand Prize was awarded to Goran Jovic from Croatia for the portrait "Rain Boy." Jovic will receive an RTX® 220-3QR storage enclosure designed for RAID backup and ideal for photographers.
The contestants competed in three categories – People, Place, and Nature – and each category winner will be awarded a ToughTech® Duo, our rugged and handheld RAID storage enclosure that can create two backup copies of your data simultaneously. The category winners were Daria Virbanescu from Romania for "The Mask," Abdulqader Taher from the United Arab Emirates for "Walking On Mars," and Robert Ross from India for "Warmth of Motherly Love."
A People’s Choice award will also be given to Ana Caroline de Lima from Brazil for "Sunset in Atacama." She will receive a ToughTech m3, our sleek storage enclosure perfect for creative professionals looking for reliable backup on the go.
